Expanding US e-commerce sales, growing 15.4% year-over-year in Q2 2018 according to the most recent US Census Bureau report, have increased demand for packaging products and services. The increase in sales has been supported by healthy personal consumption expenditure growth of 2.0% year-over-year in September 2018, according to the Bureau of Economic Analysis. To accommodate the expansion in sales, industry leading packaging product and service providers have sought inorganic growth opportunities to expand geographic location, customer base, and product offerings.
