Boston, MA - Capstone Headwaters' Head of Global M&A, Jacob Voorhees, has been elected Vice Chairman of Barcelona-based international merger and acquisition partnership, IMAP Inc.
As a partner member firm of IMAP (International M&A Partners), Capstone Headwaters is one of the few middle market firms with a strong national footprint and vast international reach, advising mid-sized companies and their shareholders on the sale and acquisition of companies on a global scale. IMAP's global platform, which is consistently ranked among the Top 10 middle market M&A advisors globally by Thomson Reuters, has successfully closed over 200 transactions per year with an aggregate transaction value in excess of $12 billion.
Welcoming the appointment, IMAP Chairman, Jurgis Oniunas said: “We are thrilled Jake has taken on a larger leadership role on the IMAP Board as Vice Chairman. Jake is a highly accomplished leader and brings extensive vision and insights that will help shape the continued strategic development of the IMAP partnership.”
Jacob brings over 20 years of experience in investment banking, and as one of the founding members of Capstone Partners, has helped build Capstone’s brand over the past decade until the merger with Headwaters MB in late 2017. Jacob has a vast amount of experience in the education and training, consumer products and business services sectors and his transactional work has resulted in over 50 individual nominations for Deal of the Year within his sectors, culminating in eight wins.
Jacob Voorhees commented: “I’m looking forward to continuing to serve on the Board to develop further opportunities for our global teams to collaborate and work more effectively- all for the ultimate benefit of our clients."
