Capstone's Jacob Voorhees Named to M&A 40-Under-40 Class

March 30, 2012

Boston, MA - The M&A Advisor has named Jacob Voorhees, a founding member and partner of Capstone Partners LLC, to its prestigious 40-UNDER-40 deal makers list. The 40-UNDER-40 list recognizes emerging leaders in the M&A field.  Winners have reached a significant level of success while still under the age of 40 and were chosen on the basis of the nominee’s career accomplishments, professional expertise, community and/or charitable involvement and unique circumstances.

“Beyond helping to build Capstone’s brand over the past decade, Jacob has clearly emerged as a talented deal maker with an unyielding commitment to our clients,” commented John Ferrara, Capstone’s President and Managing Partner.  “Jake has established himself and our firm as a leader in various industries, serves as a strong mentor to our developing professionals and continues to maintain a balance in the community.  He is a highly accomplished leader and an extraordinary role model,” added Ferrara.

Recently, Jacob played a central role in several of Capstone’s transactions that have earned industry recognition, including being named either finalist or winner of Cross-Border Deal of the Year, International Deal of the Year and North America Deal of the Year within the middle market investment banking segment.  “I am humbly honored to have been selected to this recent class of M&A deal makers, but remain most proud of the results Capstone continues to achieve on behalf of our clients,” explained Voorhees.

Winners were chosen from a pool of prominent nominees by an independent judging panel.  The 40-Under-40 Award Winners and Finalists will be honored on May 3rd at an Awards Gala in New York City to introduce them to the business community and celebrate their achievements.
