Boston, MA - Capstone Partners LLC, a leading investment banking firm, has expanded its Corporate Restructuring Services (CRS) practice with the addition of Managing Directors Ed Karas in Chicago and Jim Calandra in Boston, along with their teams. Both Ed and Jim will assist our clients in navigating through difficult operating and financial environments by providing a variety of corporate restructuring and specialty M&A services.
Ed is a CPA and senior financial executive with significant experience providing strategic and managerial guidance to public and private companies across various industries. With over 15 years of experience, he has addressed the diverse needs of companies, including debt and equity financing, troubled debt restructuring, accounting and financial reporting, SEC reporting, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic planning.
Jim is a CPA and a certified turnaround professional who has led teams and corporations involved with corporate restructuring, due diligence, creditor financial advisory, bankruptcy and a host of interim management engagements in a range of industries from healthcare to energy, retail and manufacturing. These assignments have also involved public company governance and reporting as well as forensic accounting and fraud investigations.
